Panels and Workshops
Panels and workshops at the Sangawa Project range from historical to practical to just plain fun! Here is a sampling of what you can expect:
- Anime panels about series such as Detective Conan, Tenchi Muyo, and Madoka Magica, creators like Tomino, and genres such as magical girls.
- Japan-oriented panels covering geisha, bento, ball jointed dolls, and travel to Japan, as well as purchasing items for yourself from Japan and using Japanese websites.
- Gaming panels with a heavy emphasis on video game systems prior to the current generation. (Tabletop gamers, we've got content for you too!)
- Artistic panels full of photography and drawing pointers.
- Humorous panels full of laughter and reminiscence about Saturday morning cartoons, cult movies, and the goofier parts of fandom.
No matter what kind of fan you are, there's something at Sangawa Project for you!
Interested in running a panel at the Sangawa Project?

There are a few things to remember when submitting your panel or workshop:
- Please remember that we cannot accept all panels and workshops submitted.
- Please do not preregister if you plan to be a panelist until after the acceptance and rejection letters have gone out. There will be plenty of time for you to preregister.
- Only the head panelist (who is running 2 or more panels) will receive a complimentary badge for running their panel or workshop. This is 1 badge per two panels or workshops. You must be listed as the head panelist for both panels to receive the complimentary badge. The complimentary badge is a regular weekend badge.
- We cannot provide Mac adaptors for your computer. If you have a Mac computer, please provide your own hookups or find access to a PC laptop. Tekkoshocon cannot provide a laptop for you to use. We will be providing hookups for PC laptops.
- If you wish to serve any kind of food or beverage in your panel or workshop, it must be served in 4oz or less. This is per person, per item. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to email allison.milwid@tekkoshocon.com.
- We may not accept multiples of panels. If 5 people submit Inuyasha panels, we will most likely one choose 1 of them to be accepted.
- Submitting the same panel year after year, convention after convention, may result in your panel or workshop being denied. Freshen up your panel or workshop! Add something new! Do something a little different.

- We cannot provide prizes for gameshows not approved. This approval is from the con chair or the vice con chair.
- Some supplies we may be able to provide for your panel or workshop, but please mention these in your submission form. They will be approved on a case by case basis.
- Failure to show up at your panel or workshop without prior notice may result in your panelist privledges being revoked for all Tekkoshocon Inc events.
- If you have any questions, feel free to ask on our Facebook, forums, or email allison.milwid@tekkoshocon.com.
